Psilocybin Integration in Colorado

Turning insights from your journey into meaningful, lasting change.

What Is Psilocybin Integration?

I find integration to be one of the most important—and most overlooked—parts of a psilocybin journey. Integration is the process of slowing down and making sense of what surfaced during the journey. That may include emotions, memories, relationships, old patterns, grief, imagery, insights, or simply a new way of seeing yourself.

A journey can bring powerful emotions, unexpected insights, or a shift in perspective. The days and weeks afterward are often when those experiences begin to settle, become clearer, and start to connect with everyday life.

Integration gives you the space to notice what continues to feel important and to explore how those insights might influence the way you think, relate, make decisions, set boundaries, or care for yourself.

do not believe every part of a journey needs to be analyzed or turned into a lesson. Sometimes meaning unfolds slowly. My role is to help you stay curious about what emerged and explore what may be asking for deeper attention, understanding, or change.

For some people, integration leads to very practical changes—a conversation they have been avoiding, a boundary they need to set, a habit they want to change, or a commitment to treating themselves differently. For others, it is simply about giving the experience enough time and space to settle.

Why Integration Matters After a Psilocybin Journey

A psilocybin journey can open a door, but walking through that door takes intention. Integration is where we begin asking, “What do I want to do with what I learned?”

A psilocybin journey can be powerful, emotional, beautiful, confusing, or all of those things at once. But I believe the journey itself is only part of the work. What happens afterward is often where the deeper change begins.

I often tell clients not to rush back into life as usual after a journey. Thoughtful preparation before the experience can also support a more meaningful integration process. Afterward, I encourage clients to stay curious about what continues to surface—through journaling, time in nature, reflection on relationships, and noticing changes in how they think, feel, or respond.

The next step is turning insight into something practical. That might mean setting a new boundary, having a difficult conversation, changing a habit, approaching a relationship differently, or finding a new way to care for yourself.

Integration does not have to be dramatic. In my experience, some of the most meaningful changes are small and very practical. One different response. One honest conversation. One daily practice. One decision to stop repeating an old pattern.

This is one of the reasons I feel so strongly about integration. If you are investing the time, energy, and money into a guided psilocybin journey, I do not want the experience to simply become something profound that happened to you. I want to help you explore how it can become something you actually use in your life.

Mental health expertise matters.

My Approach to Psilocybin Integration

Integration is an area I feel especially passionate about because it brings together so much of my background as a therapist with the depth of psychedelic work.

I have been working in mental health for more than 25 years, and I draw from that experience to help clients make sense of what surfaced. My approach is not just about talking through the experience. I look at integration from several angles—cognitive, emotional, somatic, relational, and spiritual—because different parts of a journey often need different ways of being understood.

I may draw from cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches, while also working with imagery, metaphors, body sensations, emotional themes, and the patterns that continue to show up after the journey. I also use tools such as integration cards, reflective or spiritual cards, journaling prompts, and concrete action steps to help clients move from insight into something they can actually use in their lives.

Sometimes a client leaves a journey with a very clear message. Other times the experience is layered, symbolic, or difficult to put into words. My role is not to tell you what your journey meant, but to help you stay curious, notice what continues to feel important, and develop a thoughtful plan for what comes next.

I want clients to leave integration feeling more grounded and more connected to their own wisdom—not simply impressed by what happened during the journey. Part of that process is identifying what the experience may be inviting them to do differently in everyday life. That might mean setting a new boundary, having an important conversation, beginning a daily practice, changing how they care for themselves, or developing a deeper understanding of a relationship or pattern that has been present for years.

For me, this is where mental health expertise matters. When a journey brings forward grief, anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, identity questions, or emotionally complex material, having an experienced therapist available to help you work with that material can make the integration process feel more supported, more practical, and more complete.

Integration Packages

Integration support is available whether you completed your psilocybin journey with me at Sacred Healing Colorado or with another licensed facilitator.

My goal is to give you enough structure and support that you leave with a clearer sense of what comes next—not simply a memory of a powerful experience.
